Well, for those of you who follow from afar, if there are any, you might not know that we are not in Russell pastoring anymore. After 4 years, the church didn't feel like they could afford to keep us there and we felt that it was time for us to move on. However, Jeff is still a year away from his nursing degree and that would be a wasted venture if we moved now so we decided to stay in the area. We started looking for a place to rent or buy and soon found that it might be cheaper to buy than to rent. We started looking for an agency that we might get a mortgage from and found USDA, or United States Department of Agriculture. They do what is called Rural Housing Service where they give low interest mortgages to those who might not be able to get them through a conventional banking agency. We found a cute little house in Massena and decided that we would go ahead and put an offer in. After what seemed like an eternity, we got all the paperwork done and had our closing. We've put some work into it and we're pretty pleased with how it looks. Hope you enjoy! The other day my husband recieved a phone call which he thought was very disturbing. The voice on the other end of the phone was wanting to know if we had sold our couch yet. He was like What?!?!! But, then he got to thinking and remembered....oh yeah that wife of mine has been putting all sorts of stuff up for sale on this new web site that just started. Yes, indeed I had put the big sectional couch up for sale! That evening, our couch was taken out of our house, and we were left standing (since there was no place to sit) with some green paper in our hands. So, the following day, we went furniture shopping. Here are some pictures of the new couch. :) It is a microfiber material and is very nice. Best of all, it is dark in color, which for anyone who is a parent, that right there says it all! :)

Jordan loves animals to say the least. Well, if any of you have seen our dog, you would know that it is very hard for the two of them to play. Samson some times gets to excited and has plowed Jordan over before. Well, after going to some relatives house and seeing how well Jordan played with their dogs, and how well he got along without his alergies bothering him while playing with them, we decided that we needed to make another addition to our household. So, Jordan took money out of his savings account that he has been saving since he was a baby, and bought himself a best friend! Take a look for yourself. :)

I know that there are issues that we don't agree with President elect Barack Obama on, but at the same time, he is our new President. I think that we need to treat him with respect. I also think that before things should be said, that we need to know what the facts are. Many of the things that people say about him are lies. Instead of saying....OH NO! What are we going to do now that he is president!?!?! I think that we need to stand behind him and support him with our prayers for this big responsiblity that he has taken on. Remember that God is still in ultimate control. Lets ask him to help us all as a nation to keep him first.

Oh my goodness! It is so hard to believe that my little baby is one already. He are some pics that and a video that I have been looking at just reminising. Where has the time gone? I can still remember the feeling that I had when I had my first look at my little boy. It was this big lump in my throat cuz I didn't know if I was going to cry or laugh, but I knew that I was so happy and proud of the little piece of heaven on earth that God had decided to place in my and Jeff's care. (My next thought was OH MY GOODNESS......MY CHILD DOES NOT HAVE A BOTTOM LIP?!?! haha I soon found out that he did. hehe)

Alright everyone! Here are the long awaited pictures. There were well worth the wait...Just look down through and you will see. I know that he is my son and everything, but wow....What a doll. He has just grown way too fast. He had his first birthday yesterday, and now has way too many toys scattered all over my living room....Oh well....I guess that is part of having a little boy around huh? Today we decided to let Jordan try feeding himself with his new spoons that we got him. They are called little dippers, and they are supposed to help little ones learn to feed themselves. The other night I went out to lock the door before going to bed for the night, and lo and behold, there was a little tree frog sitting on the window of the door. I called Jeff out, and he brought Jordan to see the frog. Jordan was so excited by it that he kept trying to get the frog through the glass. We took some pics for you to see.

Update on life

There now that I have done my blogging for the month, you all better be satisfied!!! hehe. No, I hope to try and do things more frequently, but life has been busy with work. I just got a promotion, and with a promotion comes more responsiblity. Even though it is a closer commute to work, I end up having to go in early to open up, and stay later if a teller has a problem with getting the drawer to balance. So...life has been busy. Today (Memorial Day) I spent some time sorting through stuff in my one room to get things ready for a garage sale that I will hopefully be doing next week while I am on vacation!!!! The other day I sat Jordan up on the seat by me in church and he sat there a good part of the service just playing with his toys. I said something to Jeff about it after we got home that night, and Jeff said..."Oh he has been sitting up by himself for a while!" Boy did I feel bad.... Usually when I come home from work at night I have not seen him all day long, so I spent the evening holding, or dancing around the living room with him. I was totally clueless has to how much he has progressed. So, needless to say, I had to see him do it. I was so excited about it that I had to take a few pics. Here are some of them......

Lately I have been trying to loose weight. Jeff is also trying to get into shape as football season is fast approaching. We have been trying to get out and go jogging together. We went out the other night, and walked/ jogged (well, daddy did anyway) for a mile. Hopefully we can get that worked up there. Here are a few pictures of our time out!!!

For Mother's day Jeff and Jordan bought me some wonderful smelling candles, a few dvds and some beautiful roses. Here are some pics of the roses. They lasted a really long time. Mother's day was 2 & 1/2 weeks ago and they are just now dying. They did a pretty good job of picking them out huh? Also, Jeff made a wonderful dinner for me while I catered to our sick little boy....It is a first mother's day that I will not forget!!!!

Jordan was dedicated last Sunday. He was supposed to be dedicated on Sunday night of mother's day, but he got some sort of stomache bug, and so we decided to wait a week. Here is a picture of us before the dedication. We bought Jordan a special outfit to wear, but when were getting him ready for the dedication, we realized that the clerk at the store we purchased it from had left the security tag on it. It is the kind that if you try to take it off, it will put ink all over. Well, his outfit was white, and we were not sure what to do until his grandfather came along and saved the day. I don't know, but I think he kinda looks like he has had to do this before!!!

We went over to visit Tina's parent's the other day. We spent the day going to yard sales. We stopped back to the house during the middle of our trip to let Jordan stay home with daddy and uncle Larry, as he was kinda getting tired of trying to keep up with the girls. When we were getting ready to go and hit the road again, Uncle Larry was trying to teach Jordan to ride the bike that Grandma had bought at a yard sale. Jordan is getting better at lifting his backside up. Before long he'll be crawling around like mad. He also is starting to enjoy dressing up. This was his "Sunday Best" the other day for church and we just wanted to put this on here as well. We'll keep on posting as often as possible.
